Job Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the school’s curriculum framework.
- Planning: Design and prepare high-quality teaching materials and comprehensive lesson plans.
- Assessment: Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Testing: Develop and administer quizzes, tests, and examinations.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and provide academic updates as required.
- Engagement: Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions as assigned by school management.
Selection Criteria
- Native English Speaker with a recognized Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject(s) of teaching.
- Professional Certification: An essential teaching qualification/license (e.g., PGCE, QTS, B.Ed., M.Ed., or equivalent state teaching license) is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of continuous, full-time teaching experience in an international school setting.
- Differentiation: Demonstrated expertise in delivering a rigorous curriculum and implementing effective differentiation strategies for a diverse student body.
- Classroom Excellence: Exceptional classroom management skills and a professional commitment to high academic standards and student welfare.
- Additional Qualifications: English teaching certifications such as TEFL/TESOL/CELTA are considered a plus.
